AI Host

A better seating plan, with the room still in charge.

AI Host suggests validated changes for the current service. You pick which to apply, and one step undoes them. A booking you save stays booked.

Useful restaurant intelligence should propose. Your team should decide.

Hostbook's own solver finds and checks every option. The AI only reads your request, and common requests work without it.

Ask, or tap where you are

Type a request in your own words, tap a suggestion in the AI Host drawer, or start from a new booking, an overlapping table or a server card.

Set the room's real limits

Pick the rooms and tables to use, whether staff-only tables may be used, and a cautious or aggressive dining-time policy.

Validate every proposed move

Seated and locked parties never move, start times never change, and options refresh when the floor changes.

Apply deliberately and recover cleanly

You pick which changes to apply. Linked changes stay together, one PIN covers them, and one step undoes them.

From setup to service, every step stays reviewable.

Nothing changes until you apply

Seated and locked parties are never moved

Applied changes undo in one step

  1. Tidy the floor

Find tables for unassigned, dislodged and overlapping parties, with a separate fix for each party.

  2. Balance or pace

See who is busiest at their peak, then hand a seating to a lighter server, move an upcoming party, or rebalance section tables. Or: open more, smooth arrivals, protect the floor, or pause online booking for a window. Past slots never change.

  3. Review each change

See each suggestion's changes, what they fix and any warnings, in plain words, before you apply anything.

  4. Apply with control

Tick the changes you want and apply them. If the floor changed in the meantime, the options refresh first.
